Though speculations had been rife that Natalie
Portman would play the female lead in Jobs, the actress has turned down
the part. Jobs is a biopic based on Walter Isaacson's
official biography of Apple's founder Steve Jobs. The project is being
directed by Danny Boyle and stars Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs and
Seth Rogen as Steven Wozniak.
While the production is expected to start in the coming year in spring, the reasons for Portman's exit are still unclear. Previously big names like actors Christian Bale, Leonardo DiCaprio and director David Fincher also skipped the project.
